Qualifications and training:

I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Psychotherapy.
I am a certified Transactional Analyst CTA(P).
Additionally, I hold a Postgraduate diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling, a Diploma in NLP, and Certificate in hypnotherapy. I've had a huge amount of training in all topics related to emotional issues and mental health.

As well as training in Ericksonian hypnotherapy, in NLP and in counselling of the person centred approach; I trained for the last seven and a half years at the Berne Institute, an independent training organisation providing high quality training for psychotherapists in the Transactional Analysis approach.

As a participant and believer in Continuing Professional Development I continue to work individually and collaboratively with other professionals to further my personal and professional development.

Experience:

I have 8 year's experience of working in private practice as well as two and a half years working in GP surgeries.
Currently, in addition to my private practice at Nottingham Therapy, I also do work in Derbyshire Primary Care as a specialist in running psychotherapy groups.

I have a lot of experience with all different kinds of clients and the variety of problems and issues that they may have. I am committed to anti-discriminatory practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures and sexualities.
